Matt is an elite ex-cop whose life has gone down hill since he was kicked off the Force. After a rough encounter with a mysterious henchman, Matt is brought face to face with his only chance at reclaiming his life and clearing his gambling debt markers. Only after he gets started on his new tasks does he recognize good guy from bad. Meanwhile Matt's love for his only daughter helps him battle one of his greatest enemies, alcoholism.
Matt (Steven Seagal) is een aan lager wal geraakte corrupte, alcoholistische agent die veel schulden heeft gemaakt. Op een dag komt hij een mysterieuze man tegen die hem veel geld aanbiedt in ruil voor een paar ''klussen''. Ondertussen vecht Matt tegen zijn alcoholprobleem en de liefde voor zijn dochter helpt hem daarmee. Maar wat moet hij doen? Zichzelf uit de schulden proberen te werken of is de liefde voor zijn dochter toch belangrijker?
A fast-paced thriller starring Steven Seagal, Pistol Whipped revolves around a former cop with a history of a bad bets and debts hanging over his head. Near desperation, Matt (Seagal) caves when an ominous character offers to pay off his debts on the condition that Matt perform an assassination of the city's deadliest crime lord.
