Janet en Paul zijn hun zoontje kwijtgeraakt tijdens de tsunami. Zes maanden later denkt Janet hem te zien op een video. Paul is aarzelend, maar besluit uiteindelijk samen met Janet op zoek te gaan. Met een koffer vol met geld kopen ze de hulp van de crimineel Thaksin Gao. Hij begeleidt ze en zo begint de zoektocht die via de gevaarlijke Thaise en Burmese wateren naar de jungle leidt.
