Aka: Honey I Blew Up The Kids
Wayne Szalinski is at it again. But instead of shrinking things, he tries to make a machine that can make things grow. As in the first one, his machine isn't quite accurate. But when he brings Nick & his toddler son Adam to see his invention, the machine unexpectedly starts working. And when Adam comes right up to the machine, he gets zapped along with his stuffed bunny. Now, whenever Adam comes near anything electrical, the electricity causes him to grow. Adam soon starts to grow to the height of 150 feet. And he is now walking through Las Vegas which he thinks is one big play land.
Wayne Szalinski, the inventor who accidentally shrunk his kids in "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids," has sold his invention to a big laboratory and moved his family to a suburb outside Las Vegas. Working at home one day, he accidentally uses his new growth ray on his two-year-old son Adam. Adam quickly grows out of control, causing havoc for the family and attracting the attention of the government and greedy scientists. Sequel: "Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves."
In the sequel to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, a bumbling but brilliant scientist (Rick Moranis) accidentally makes his two-year-old son into a giant who becomes larger every time he comes in contact with electricity. Though he and his wife try to control their son, the child inevitably escapes and wreaks havoc, eventually terrorizing the streets of Las Vegas.
