Iconoclastic, take-no-prisoners cop John McClane, for the first time, finds himself on foreign soil after traveling to Moscow to help his wayward son Jack - unaware that Jack is really a highly-trained CIA operative out to stop a nuclear weapons heist. A Good Day to Die Hard News Articles
While " A Good Day To Die Hard " marks the return of the R-rating to the series, in an otherwise pretty generic looking movie thus far, some of the elements from its predecessor " Live Free Or Die Hard " are also carrying over. Of course, there's Bruce Willis , but also returning is composer Marco Beltrami who has tuned up the lastest adventures of John McClane. With the newest entry in the series set in Russia, you might think Beltrami would play up the local flavor. But as this preview bears out, most the tracks are the standard stuff you'd hear in any actioner, though "Triple Vodka Rhapsody" does offer something a little more local in style. If anything stands out it's the song titles themselves, which include "Truckzilla," "Get To The Choppa!" (wait, are they really going to reference Arnie's classic line?), "It's Hard To Kill A McClane" and "McClane's Brain." At least they're having.
