Spiders (2000)

Om een verhaal te schrijven over de landing van een spaceshuttle gaan reporter Marci en haar collega's naar een verlaten woestijn waar tevens onderzoek gedaan wordt naar het bestaan van buitenaardse wezens waarvan men geloofd dat ze hier geland zouden zijn. Als de spaceshuttle neerstort dringen ze het hoofdkwartier van de onderzoekers binnen en ontdekken daar iets vreemds. Een experiment is fout gegaan: een spin aan boord is geïnjecteerd met DNA van aliens en deze loopt nu vrij rond... en elke keer als hij moordt wordt hij groter en hongeriger.
