Sean Linden is een volhardende aanvoerder van het ijshockeyteam Charlestown Chiefs. De tijd van glorieuze overwinningen van The Chiefs is al lang voorbij en ze begeven zich nu letterlijk en figuurlijk op glad ijs. De nieuwe coach is een vrouw en de nieuwe eigenaar van de club, de stinkend rijke miljonair Dean Claremont, heeft een nieuw plan.
