Tijdens een voordracht in Brazilië wordt Dr. Taylor Briggs - een autoriteit op het gebied van geheugenstoornissen - gevraagd een man te onderzoeken die is gevonden aan de oevers van de Amazone. Dr. Taylor Briggs (Billy Zane) is an expert on memory diseases. When he is called upon to help a patient in the Amazon, Briggs accidentally comes into contact with a toxic and unknown substance which in turn makes the scientist start experiencing memories which are not his own. After realizing the memories actually belong to a horrific serial killer, will Briggs be able to hunt down the killer before he strikes again?
