Vincent Cassel (LA HAINE) plays a psychotic groundskeeper who welcomes in the daughter of his employee after she has enjoyed a hard night of partying with her friends (whom she also brings along). After Cassel's character spooks the visitors with a tale about Satan things really get spooky as strange events start to beset the house.

ackle mansion overflowing with broken plastic dolls and looked after by Joseph (Vincent Cassel), a cheerful but subnormal handyman whose pregnant wife spends most of her time upstairs. Before long, some of Eve's friends from town come by, and while the women are sexually accommodating, Yasmine soon gets the feeling something is wrong, and in time the guys reach the same conclusion. Joseph's topics of conversation become downright creepy as he talks in great detail about incest and Satanism with his guests, and Christmas Day devolves into an orgy of violence and perversity. Sheitan received its North American premiere at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival.

Het is de dag voor Kerstmis en na een nacht stappen heeft een groep jongeren nog geen zin om naar huis te gaan. In de discotheek ontmoeten ze Eve, een sexy, jong meisje, dat hun uitnodigt om het weekend op het platteland bij haar thuis door te brengen. Ze gaan in op de uitnodiging en rijden er naartoe. Vlakbij het vervallen landhuis, ontmoeten ze Joseph, een lokale herder en tevens heer en meester van het huis. Naarmate de avond overgaat in de nacht, krijgen de jongeren het gevoel dat er iets niet helemaal pluis is.
