Mattie (Kristen Bell) is een studente, die al een tijd niets heeft gehoord van haar vriend Josh (Jonathan Tucker). Als ze hem dan opzoekt, ziet ze hoe Josh zichzelf heeft opgehangen. Toch is Josh niet de enige, er blijkt een hele golf van zelfmoorden te zijn ontstaan.
