A film noir, psychological thriller in the vein of "Body Heat", "Basic Instinct", and "Double Indemnity", this film centers on two old friends and the woman who comes between them in a small American town. Money, lust, and obsession are American Standards, and even the tightest bonds are not immune to their pull.
Old friends Dave and Emily fall into a passionate relationship after Dave returns to his home town for his father's funeral. Emily and her former boyfriend had started to help Dave repair his late father's house before the couple broke up in a fit of violence, and there are some surprises in store for poor Dave upon his return.
Per its title, Hartmut Bitomsky's unusual, experimental documentary Dust explores the content, presence and implications of dust particles in the Earth's atmosphere.
