Roberto Benigni is advanced talks to join Woody Allen 's next project, tentatively titled Bop Decameron.
A creative departure for Allen (and a new European city to enjoy), the film will take four stories loosely inspired by Giovanni Boccaccio 's " The Decameron ," the classic comendium of 100 tales of love, veering from erotic to tragic, written in the 1350s.
The pic will also mark Allen's first foray into Italian-language filmmaking, with two of the four vignettes that make up the film....
