All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989)

De ondeugende herder Charlie B. Barkin ontdekt dat zijn gokmaatje, de grote pitbull Carface Malone, veel geld verdient bij de hondenrennen dankzij Anne-marie, een meisje dat met honden kan praten. Carface zet een valstrik op om Charlie uit de weg te ruimen. Maar om de hemelpoort te kunnen passeren, moet Charlie bewijzen dat hij iets goeds heeft gedaan op aarde. Hij ontvoert Anne-Marie om Carface te ontmaskeren, maar zij ziet in hem alleen maar een goede vriend. Hun band wordt langzaam hechter en samen beleven ze allerlei spannende avonturen.
