Aka: Ghostbusters 2
Five years after the events of the first film, the Ghostbusters have been plagued by lawsuits and court orders, and their once-lucrative business is bankrupt. However, when Dana begins to have ghost problems again, the boys come out of retirement only to be promptly arrested. The Ghostbusters discover that New York is once again headed for supernatural doom, with a river of ectoplasmic slime bubbling beneath the city and an ancient sorcerer attempting to possess Dana's baby and be born anew. Can the Ghostbusters quell the negative emotions feeding the otherworldly threat and stop the world from being slimed?
The band of ghost busters are back to save the universe. Having been put out of commission due to a judicial court order, the fearless four pull out all psychic stops to put an end to a demonic river of slime and rescue Dana Barrett (Sigourney Weaver) and her child. In order to achieve this, they must convince New York that all the city's negative energy is feeding the evil spirits in the river, so the city's residents need to resist all negativity!

Ray (Dan Aykroyd) and Winston (Ernie Hudson) spend their time performing at children's' birthday parties, and Egon (Harold Ramis) is busy conducting experiments investigating the effect of human emotions on the environment, leaving ghostbusting behind. Dana, now divorced and the mother of a little baby named Oscar, works as an art restorer in a museum -- and this is where the plot kicks in. While Dana is restoring a portrait of a 16th-century tyrant by the name of Vigo the Carpathian, the portrait becomes hexed. The evil Vigo wants to return to life by taking over the body of Dana's little child. Vigo has enlisted Dana's boss, Janosz Poha (Peter MacNicol), to compel Dana to cooperate. Soon dirty sludge and slime flow through the streets of Manhattan, and the ghostbusters have to reunite to save the city from a funky paranormal evil.

Studio produced Epk featurettes usually suck. From time to time , we post B-roll footage on the site (usually in Page 2) because I love watching the making of a movie in the unedited form. I've always loved the cinema verite-style film documentaries, but they're rare. Special effects artist William Forsche has posted 47-minutes of fly on the wall behind the scenes footage from the set of Ghostbusters 2 . Forsche shot the footage during FX tests and actual FX production of the film. We get to see the effects team putting together the suit operated animatronic puppet Slimer, director Ivan Reitman working out a ghost-heavy sequence with the effects team and star Bill Murray , the prosthetic make-up being applied and filming of the moving Vigo painting segments, model builders recreating a New York City subway tunnel in miniature for the subway of slime sequence, and much more.
